Project ReEnroll
Mobility Blueprint created Project ReEnroll to help administrators locate previously enrolled students. The platform allows authorized users a way to locate missing students by any school within the district. Students are mapped by their address. Because many students live in apartment complexes, the map works as a heat map, effectively allowing administrators to target a large group of missing students in one location. In addition, an interactive dashboard displays PEIMS data for every student. There is also a District Overview table that shows how many students are missing and can be sorted by school and/or grade. Files can be exported to CSV for further review and strategic planning.
Features:
- Locate missing students based on attendance data
- Heat maps show student location by population
- Quickly identify concentrations of students to more effectively allocate resources, services, and outreach efforts
- View student population by grade, ethnicity, and other demographic categories
- Export data to CSV
- Sort data tables by name, demographic, grade, attendance, etc.
- Student data includes PEIMS data, parent names, telephone numbers, and email addresses
- Student data is updated each time the district provides new data to Mobility Blueprint
- Principals and other school leaders can use this data to create family engagement plans and to better understand their community
In Spring 2021, Austin ISD used the Project ReEnroll platform as part of Operation Reconnect to help engage and recruit families back to Austin ISD.
